The Mastermind 2012 comes to a close with a ‘POW’

Jordan Adler opened the day with a presentation on ” Handling No shows, Cancellations, Naysayers and Inconsiderate people”. He brought out two type of people you will come to meet in this profession, the skeptic and the cynic. The skeptic has only questions but they are good people, unlike the cynic who is like poison and their goal is to make you look like a jerk. We were shown how to correctly handle them. People will only follow you when you look like you know where you are going to, and only YOU can create your success.

Orrin and Laurie Woodward were next on the platform with a brilliant presentation of Building numbers through depth and relationships. A house is built on nothing less than a solid foundation so also is your business. I also learnt the keys to success, such as a business mindset, have work ethics, a solid work principle and much more.

Orjan Saele, brought out beautifully perfect timing and what we can do to achieve perfect timing. Perfect timing, a consequence of results, is due to massive action and this leads to success. If you want to be enthusiastic, start acting enthusiastic.

The Host and moderator of this great event, Art Jonak, gave a beautiful closing presentation on Crossing the Line. He brought more meaning to the slogan for the event, Dream, Struggle, Victory and Revolution. The struggle which is now is what gives us a chance to believe in our level of dreams and it also makes us stronger. When you achieve your victory then we are to help others achieve victory, then and only then can we have a revolution. He ended with every one given a balloon and he made everyone write out their fears, memorize them and with each fear remembered, blow them into the balloon and keep blowing till your balloon of fears burst. It was an amazing sight to behold, to see people finally burst their balloons and celebrate.

Just to know that your fears have been burst, the only thing remaining is confidence and self assurance that you will overcome the struggle and achieve your victory.

Mastermind 8 was a blast, Mastermind 9, WATCH OUT!!!

Mastermind 2012 Day 2, Even Better !!

Wow, that’s all my mind can articulate now as Day 2 came to a close.

Randy Gage kicked off Day 2 with a topic on Local Leadership. He defined leadership as causing people to do things willingly that they normally would not do. I learnt about the Roles of Leadership in this profession of Network Marketing and having the knowledge to know that you can see the greatness in everyone but not everybody wants to be a leader. He showed in precise details, the 5 levels of leadership.

Chris Brady followed right behind, as usual turned the whole audience laughing and kept them laughing through out his presentation. He read statistics why business fails and I learnt that I have not really failed until I blame someone else. He ended his presentation beautifully with a story of a man , scuba diver by profdession, who looked for spanish gold around Florida keys for 44 yrs with the  government against him, losing one of his sons to scuba diving accidents, only to achieve his dream in 1985 when one of his sons called him to tell him that they had discovered the treasure, and the man’s daily motto was “Today is the day”.

Sarah Robbins, a former kindergarten teacher, first time speaker at the Mastermind was the next speaker and she showed us how hungry she was for success and how coachable she was also. She typed prospecting to looking for Gold.
Richard Brooke, stood up to the podium next and talked about the bad name distributors give Network Marketing. He showed clips of interviews of distributors talking about how the product they were using took away all their pain and problems and he strongly advised not to do that because the product does not work on everybody the same way.

After the Lunch break, we had several break out sessions with different speakers, then the day was climaxed with a presentation “Start Starting and Quit Quitting” by a powerful couple,  Orrin and Laurie Woodward.

Laurie gave a  vivid description of her and Orrin’s stormy marriage years, how she had to learn to change herself, the committment she made to herself. We will always have obstacles in front of us , we can decide to veer off the road and quit or we can decide to keep going on and go over the obstacle.

Orrin told us to find the victory in every defeat. You know that you can be really bad at something  but if you persist you WILL succeed. The Only limit that really matters is the limit that we have set in our head. He ended with a final thought that greatness lies in each and everyone of you, and I MEAN YOU.

I cant wait for the 3rd and Final day, It will surely be the bomb

Mastermind 2012 Day 1, What a blast !

What a day, What a day!!! Day 1 was a blast. Filled with some much fun and expectation.

I promised to keep you updated on it and I am here to keep my word.

Randy Gage was introduced as the first speaker and he gave a brilliant talk about the “Golden Era of Network Marketing” Talking about how by the next 10 yrs, Artificial Intelligence will surpass Human Intelligence, made me think about how the digital age has really developed. I also learnt that millions of jobs will be eliminated by technology in the next 2 years but also millions of jobs will be recreated ‘ especially in Network Marketing’ by technology. He also gave us insight to his new book just written, “Risky is the new Safe” which I recommend for networkers who want to succeed in their businesses to read.

The Next speakers were a couple of different diversities,  a Norwegian husband and a European wife, Orjan and Hilde Saele.    Hilde Saele spoke first emphasizing the importance of Napoleon Hill’s classic “Think and grow rich”. To think is to create, and she showed how she created herself from her thoughts as an 11 year old girl who read Napoleon Hill’s classic at Grandma’s house. She took us into a key feature of how we can develop Momentum and she called POSTURE.

Orjan Saele spoke next starting with his story potraying the lesson, “does it matter if I fail one more time?” His dream for us being that we have the feeling inside of you to go through any struggle to make our dream very real. He` showed 3 keys to Success and he showed how we can calculate our momentum score. I learnt that ‘BE THE PERSON THAT PEOPLE WANT TO BE AND PEOPLE WILL FOLLOW YOU’

After the Lunch break, Tom “Big Al” Schreiter  talked about skills to learn and what to aspire to learn in Network Marketing. ‘Well you know how…’ was an exercise he told the crowd to tell each other and this was very exciting for the next 35 mins.

Next Speaker was Mike Potillo, who talked about ‘looking beyond the Resume’. He told us with a story of how we should not give up on our dreams, just shrink them a little.

Jordan Adler, stepped on the stage next and delivered a fun filled oration of ‘ The day that swagger struck’. A question he asked was when in the struggle do we get our swagger? This is a thought that even as we go back to our various businesses, will forever remain on our mind.

There was a break for dinner, after which Chris Brady came onto the podium as the final speaker of the day. Knowing that the people were tired, Chris for the next 45 mins kept the people laughing as hard as he could before introducing us to vital points such as teaching consistency to your team, and if people do what we recommend consistently, it would also work for them.

The first day came then to an end with very high expectation for the next day which will bring much more in store.

Watch out for some videos coming up coming shortly.

Create your Own Vision

Entrepreneurs come from every conceivable background: every ethnic group, economic class, education level, and physical ability; almost every age group, and both genders. Some come from generations of business owners, while others are the first in their families to ever consider starting their own business. Among the ranks of those who call themselves entrepreneurs are inventors, programmers, and artists, while others excel at building teams, selling, or devising marketing plans. It is difficult to come up with a description of what a “common” entrepreneur looks like or acts like, or to pinpoint the necessary skills or experience one must have. In fact, there is an endless list of differences among entrepreneurs, but there is one thing all entrepreneurs have in common: Vision.

Why is vision a universal entrepreneurial trait? It is because the purest definition of an entrepreneur is: “Someone who starts a business with a great deal of initiative and potential risk.” These individuals’ willingness (and desire) to take that initiative and assume that risk sets them apart from everyone else in the world.

Every entrepreneur has experienced this feeling. Sometimes it’s a spark that springs to life while brainstorming with a business associate; other times it’s a surge of inspiration while in the shower, or that ah-ha moment that wakes you from a sound sleep. It’s the first glimpse into the very essence of possibility—and the feeling is indescribable. Some people have even called it spiritual. The feeling takes hold the moment you sense that you’re onto something amazing, and ignites when you realize it could be something huge. That realization—that picture in your mind of future possibilities—is what vision is all about.  Though an initial spark is an essential ingredient, there is much more to being a successful entrepreneur than having and maintaining that vision. The unfortunate reality is that there are plenty of people who have the “big vision moment” but who never become entrepreneurs—because they don’t have the passion needed to sustain this vision long enough to take action. There are also people who get started but who lack perseverance, and therefore falter when obstacles arise.

Turning your initial vision into a viable business has everything to do with your level of passion and ability to keep moving forward, even in the face of challenges. Without passion, it is easy to become discouraged from pursuing your plans by other priorities and self-doubt when difficulties arise. Your mind-set ultimately dictates your actions, so operating with one that is anything less than dedicated unwaveringly to your future as a business owner will cause you to struggle to take the actions necessary for your success.

Every entrepreneur in the world comes up against challenges in his or her business. No matter how carefully you plan; no matter how great you are at what you do; and no matter how hard you try to make sure everything always goes smoothly, unexpected trials will test your vision. The many successful entrepreneurs I have known from a variety of industry sectors, backgrounds, and areas of the world have almost all credited their perseverance as the most significant element of their success. They claim that their ability to maintain their vision and a positive mind-set in the face of adversity has been the X factor that has made all the difference in their eventual achievement or failure. Their vision was big enough to carry them through the hard times, so it overshadowed any doubt that crept in along the way. In fact, these kinds of challenges are exactly what cause many entrepreneurs to thrive.

Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion — Jack Welch

LIVE THE DREAM 3 The Magic Contnues DAY 2

Brian Fanale and Norbert Orlewicz brilliantly opened the second day with a bang.
The First speakers were Mary and Dean Black, who are top performers in the MLSP community. They talked about living the dream as a team. They talked about their ‘why’ and what makes them very consistent. I learnt that the trick to being consistent in your business to apply what you know about  being consistent in domestic activities to other activities that  will bring you money.

Jonathan Budd stepped up to the podium next as the second speaker to deliver an awesome topic on branding laced with his own personal story. He defined branding as the relationship that you have with your audience. He also let us in on a secret that ‘the faster you fail, the faster you achieve success’. I was equipped with the idea that as an entrepreneur, we are more powerful than we can imagine.

Lena Bjorna, a former hollywood actress now internet marketer, was number three speaker and she reiterated to us, the importance of personal branding and personal growth. I learnt that as a network marketer, do not be emotionally attached to our business, and also to be more concerned about building our own personal branding (You Inc).

Raymond Fong and Ferny Ceballos, both founders of the “No Excuses Summit” that hold annually in Vegas were the fourth speakers and highlighted on the fastest possible way to generate Income and Leads. My eyes were enlightened to see the simplicity and speed by which Income can be generated using Pay-per-view (PPV). The importance of pop-ups cannot be over-emphasized and with it, the ability to borrow traffic from other webpages.

After the Break, another leader in the MLSP community Brian Cole gave his testimony on how he started out with MLSP two years ago and went from working in McDonalds to earning 10,000 Dollars in his first 6 months. Rachael McGregor another leader from the UK, also gave her testimony how she went from resigning from her job that paid her two dollars an hour to being a full time mom and earning 2,000 dollars in her first two months. Both testimonies brought out a similar message, knowing your ‘why’. The knowledge of why you are doing this business is what will give you the drive to push forward and succeed in this business.

The Fifth speaker, Mark Hoverson spoke to us passionately from his heart about having a heart centered lifestyle over a money centered lifestyle. He said that living from the heart is bigger than the money game. I learnt that I can rewrite my past, I can write meaning into my past. The feeling of achievement for me is greater than the feeling of wealth.

Tim Erway, the sixth speaker made us to realise that we are here to make an impact. He took us by the hand to show us the fatest path to building a 6-Figure online business. He showed us the three pillars of success, traffic, conversion and monetization. I learnt that conversion is the most important success pillar and it also incorporates the ability to Influence.

The Last speaker but most definitely not the least, Daegan Smith blew our minds as he brought to us the essence of stories in our presentation. He said that if you leverage on someone else’s story, it will bring you out of your job. I learnt that when you tell your true story, it will totally set you free.

He also stressed the need for us to create the perception that we are credible till we actually become credible.

The Day would not have been complete without our 4th speakers having the opportunity to come show us what had been the driving force in their business making them the most powerful couple in Internet Marketing today. Michelle and Bill Pescosolido blew the minds of the audience with their charisa and indept of the knowledge of facebook and why Michelle is known as the queen of Facebook Marketing today.

Time for an Idea…

. I saw a great post by a dear motivated friend of mine on How Big Ideas are born. It brought my mind back to a favorite statement of mine from the late Stephen Covey “This is an Idea whose time has come”.

There is a process through which every human endeavor passes and there are certain processes that bring about this process to occur in the certain chain of events that we want them to. Some go in our favor and some don’t but through it all we must know that they all start with an idea.

Check it out

An Idea that I want to be successful, I want to be financially free, an Idea that I can be what I dream so I will dream big to achieve great success. and then I begin to work on certain situations and circumstances to bring that big or great idea to fruition.

Some have small ideas while others take a leap of faith for
